A quick growing open upright shrub with dull grey-green foliage and pale yellow ball-shaped flowers with 2-4 per head. This shrub grows in sandy or light clay soils often in moist conditions. It can grow in full sun to full shade and is very adaptable for garden sites. It grows under eucalypts, is drought hardy, tolerates some coastal exposure and makes a good windbreak.
