Banksia ericifolia

A dense bushy shrub with bright green needle-like foliage and large striking orange-yellow cylindrical flowers that grows from two to seven metres tall. The cylindrical flowers of this shrub are up to 30 cm long and 4-6 cm wide, these are followed by woody seed bearing cones. This low maintenace, fast growing plant makes an excellent screen or feature plant, is bird attracting and tolerates coastal conditions.
