Correa baeuerlenii
A hardy dense rounded habit correa, with glossy green leaves, red stems and green bell shaped flowers with a distinctive shaped calyx that grows to two metres. This shrub grows best in sheltered partly shady areas of the garden, in well drained soil and once established will tolerate extended dry periods. As with other correas this one can be used as an informal hedge or screening plant or as in native, wildlife and cottage style gardens and will attract nectar eating birds.
