A small ornamental shrub with bright green sticky pointed tip leaves, with tubular bright red flowers that grows to one metre. This shrub can be grown in garden beds or containers, it does however require well drained soils. It can be grown in full sun to part shade and will tolerate dry periods. This shrub will attract nectar eating birds to the garden and will benefit from occasional tip pruning to keep it dense and bushy.
