Melaleuca nesophila

A medium to large shrub with dense green foliage and attractive purple to pink pom pom flowers that grows three to five metres tall. The flowers fade as they age, giving the plant a look of several different coloured flowers on the one shrub. This plant prefers well-drained soil and full sun but will tolerate some shade, drought and salty winds and is adaptable to different locatiosn and condtions. This plant attracts birds and insects and make good habitat for smaller birds.
