A small tree with long leaves and bright pink flower spikes followed by clusters of egg-shapped woody seed pods, that grows to five metres tall. This tree prefers a well drained open sunny positions but will tolerate some shade and attracts nectar eating birds and insects. It make a great feature plant with its attractive flowers and foliage or can be used as a screening plant.
