A small slender tree with smooth grey or creamy white upper bark becoming rough at the base. This tree grows up to six metres tall and produces an abundance of deep crimson to rich pink flowers in spring and summer thatprovide great contrast to the canopy. It prefers full sun and can be grown in a wide range of soils.
