An upright open spreading shrub with blue-green fern like leaves that grows 1-2.5 metres tall. It features sprays of mauve-pink pea flowers from September to December. It grows in full sun to part shade, tolerates light frosts, some salt exposure and drought one established. This plant provides both food for caterpillars and nectar for butterflies. It can be grown as an undershrub and looks good mass planted. Pruning after flowering helps to maintain its compactness.
